Michael Makarov is the founder and principal attorney at the Law Offices of Michael Makarov, LLC. Mr. Makarov enjoys practicing and gaining experience in diverse legal fields, but maintains a particular interest in utilizing his expertise in Entertainment Law and New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.

Mr. Makarov has been successful in taking on some of the largest corporations in the world  – including the largest telecommunications company in United States and second largest in the world, one of the largest automakers in the world, and one of the largest banks in United States – obtaining favorable settlements with regularity. 

Michael has also represented best-selling artists with millions of records sold worldwide, but enjoys working with promising up-and-coming talent just as much. 

Education

Mr. Makarov received his J.D. from Rutgers Law – Newark. He attended undergraduate programs at University of Connecticut and Rutgers – New Brunswick. He graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Psychology (with a perfect 4.0 GPA). Michael attended Semester at Sea program in 2005, sailing around the world. He is an experienced traveler, having traveled to over 30 countries. Michael is also fluent in Russian.
